Area MAPS question

If the height of a triangle is five inches less than the length of its base, and if the area of the triangle is 52 square inches, find the base and the height.

(You already know the relationship between the height, base and area of a triangle. The  value of the area is provided. So you will need to use the formula for the area of a triangle with a given base and height, and create an expression or equation relating the height and base. Use a graphics calculator to solve for the unknown variable at the end.)
